BULL BEAR, Husky Travis

August 19, 2007 – October 3, 2018

He was love, He was light
He was strength, He was determination
He was the strongest of Blackfoot Warriors

Husky Bull Bear was born August 19, 2007 and went peacefully to meet his Creator in wee hours of October 3, 2018

Born with multiple challenges many would have thought his life would be burdensome and without purpose. How wrong they would have been. Having little ability to move or communicate Husky could move mountains and profess undying love to those closest to him. He did not need words to make you feel that you were the most important person in his life and that you were indeed his favourite. Husky’s eyes and smile spoke volumes.

Husky was surrounded by many who loved him. His loss to his family is profound. Missing him are his mother Patricia and his siblings, Jordan, Colleen, Hibo, Paul, Samantha, Amanda, Phoenix, Journey, Alyssia, Donovan, Malia, Darlene and Darius. His extended family, grandparents, Tom and Jo Wheatley; aunts and uncles, Linda Wheatley, Jim Clayton, Pauline and Russ Holmes, Tom and Lorraine Wheatley and Darlene Wheatley will miss seeing his smiling face. Greeting him in Heaven are his sister Ailish, grandparents Gloria and Bill Allen and birth mother Tiffany Ann Black Kettle, birth grandmother Shirley Wolf Leg and many uncles and aunts. Also grieving Husky’s loss are his biological father Roland Bull Bear and brothers Lorenzo and Tray-Dee; along with his biological grandparents Dion Red Gun and Cherylene Bull Bear. What might not have been clear at the time of Husky’s birth Tiffany and Roland created nothing less than perfection. Husky was a gift to his families and all who came to know him.

Fly high my sweet boy

Special thanks go to Husky’s school family at Renfrew Educational Services. Husky attended there for seven years and enjoyed and benefitted from everything they offered him. Our family is surrounded by a large village of people who love and support us both in good times and bad. We are eternally grateful to each and every one of you, words cannot effectively express.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street S.E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Husky had an affinity for green so should guests feel inclined a showing of green would be special. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Husky Bull Bear, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th STREET S.E., Calgary, AB T2Z 4E6, Telephone: 403-203-0525.

  15. Rest well sweet Husky. Your arrival at school was often the highlight of my day, especially when it was my job to escort you up to your classroom. Our elevator chats were the best. Your smile and oh, so expressive eyes brought light and love to all who knew you. We are incredibly blessed to have had you as a part of our lives.
