A heartfelt thank-you to the staff at Wentworth Manor who cared for her in her later years and to the nursing staff on Unit 42 of the foothills hospital for the compassion and care of Mary in the last week of her life.

“I have reached the end of my journey.  I know the end is better that the beginning.  I know my children can walk with dignity and their heads held high, and so can their children after them.”

“Mother, we could not have done it without you.”
