  2. My mother was stoic in the face of a horrendous ending. We had a most powerful, magical ending in that of a heartbreaking hug from her hours from her death. I am at a loss for words for the passing of my beautiful mother…your loving daughter, Dawn. Your memory will forever be in my heart…Always.

Darlene was a thoughtful intelligent human being that accepted me into her family. She complimented a ring I was wearing during my first time I met her. I gave that ring to her that later was stolen found by the police. She gave it back to me saying that it was in the best hands.

We talked about going river rafting together but never did it, so now we will do it when we meet again.

Many stories to be shared but what I can only say is, I will miss you mom!!

  4. I was saddened to hear of Darlene’s passing. She was a generous and caring friend, a wonderful artist and very hard worker. Darlene was a competitive and well respected curler who skipped many teams to success. We also enjoyed our time together golfing at the Elks. I will cherish many fond memories and the fun times we had throughout the years. She will be dearly missed. Sincere condolences.
