Condolence Messages

  1. Shellie Harvey :

Linda, Darcy, Kim, Lynn, Mark, Don, Kevin and families:
So very, very sorry to hear of Rex’s passing. I had forgotten that he shared the “Gordon” with our dad. Growing up, Rex was a big part of our lives, as were all of you. We have many memories of playing around the farm and Sunday dinners.
Darcy and Kim – I remember the kindness shown to me when I was going to college and looking for a place to stay. I was welcomed into the family and your home not as an “extra”, but as just another family member. I will forever be indebted.
For all of you – please remember and hold dear all the good times – it is hopefully this that will help you through the days ahead.
Sadly, Beckie and I are away next week so will not be able to attend the memorial. Our hearts and thoughts will most certainly we with you all on that day. We take comfort in that we were able to visit him a couple of times the past few weeks although we did not say a final farewell.
Big hugs to each and every one of you.
    Shellie (Bishop) Harvey

  6. Ann Penfield (Bishop) :

My memories of Rex are that of a cuddly grizzly bear ~ a little rough on the outside, but a heart of gold on the inside. In the early years of my children’s lives, we would sit around that big table in the kitchen and talk, and tease, and have a very fun time. Those very fond times remain in my memories of Rex and family. Prayers and love to the family, and RIP dear “grizzly bear” Rex.
