March 21, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Leslie George Bell, loving partner of Judith La Londe of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the age of 80 years.

Les is survived by his partner Judi La Londe, his two daughters Debbie (Bob) Stouten, and Shannon (Doug Lemeshuk) Bell; five grandchildren Amanda (Steven), Bradley, Shannon, Logan, Mackenzie; two great-grandchildren Hanna, and Liam; brother Dan (Sharon) Bell; brothers-in-law Jack (Diane) Bell, and Don Hoffman; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Les was predeceased by his wife Donna Bell; parents Norman and Jennet Bell; and sister-in-law Nancy Thiesson.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

    To Judi & family; Debbie, Bob & family; Shannon, Doug & family. Les lived a good life, worked diligently in all he endeavored. He was so proud of his girls and loved his grandchildren & great grandchildren. The joy in his retirement years was his harness horses, his partners & racing friends.
    Judi, Les’ life was enriched by you, for the 25 years you were together and we appreciate your dedication to him. I’m sure your family will miss him as well.
