Shelley was such a special part of my childhood. Through elementary school and playing around the neighborhood to youth group fun during junior high. We hadn’t seen each other in so many years but kept up with each other via Facebook and I could always count on her to post some funny picture of us as kids to bring back fond memories! She will be missed. My heart goes out to Willie, Curtis and family.

  12. We were not able to make it to Shelley’s funeral yesterday but wanted to ensure we extended our thoughts and memories of Shelley to you. Shelley was our neighbour for the past two years. She spent evenings at our house where her outspoken wit was always present. Shelley knew a lot about everything…which sometimes led to some pretty interesting and fun conversations! She was always willing to help out in the neighbourhood, lending water for the ice rink, her garage for potlucks, and her house for get togethers. She was most recently at our house at the beginning of the year celebrating our son’s second birthday. The news of her sudden death was and still is shocking and very sad. We will miss Shelley and her watchful eye over our neighbourhood. Please let us know if we can do anything to help.

    Our condolences,

    Ryan, Julie, and Porter Cole
