AUCLAIR, Keri-Lynn Kim

December 12, 1969 – Rimbey Alberta
March 16, 2017 – Calgary Alberta

It is with broken hearts that we announce that Keri-Lynn Auclair, at the age of 47, passed away on Thursday March 16, 2017 after her complicated battle with cancer. As with her life, she passed away with grace, dignity and a lot of Keri-Lynn – strength that we all knew and loved.

We will all miss and cherish her unconditional love, her blatant honesty, her hugs, and her many sayings that we will always hear in our hearts forever. She believed that once we are done with this life, there is more.

There is more

We only see a little of the ocean,
A few miles distance from the rocky shore;
But oh! Out there beyond – beyond the eyes’ horizon
There is more – there is more
We only see a little of God’s Loving,
A few rich treasures from his mighty store;
But oh! Out there beyond – beyond our life’s horizon
There is more – there is more.

Keri-Lynn treasured her family and her friends. Always proud, and telling stories of their accomplishments. Keri-Lynn could always be found spending time with family and friends or working on her creations for them. Always crafty, she loved to cross stitch, sew baby blankets, and scrapbook for and with her family and friends. Usually, with a camera close at hand to snap picture of the beginning, middle and end of everything. Her saying “ANY Picture, is better than no picture” was her motto, and she lived by it, teaching others to do the same. Spending time with family, special occasions with her family or friends, just going for lunch, finishing a quilt, camping, and scrapbooking, everything always deserved a picture, and a quick story to go with it.

Keri-Lynn had a generous spirit and was always there to lend support and love. Whether you knew her for weeks, or forever we all have something special that is missing. May the memories we have, keep her in our Hearts forever.

Remember her with a smile today
She was not one for tears
Reflect instead on memories
Of all the Happy years
Recall to mind the way she spoke
And all the things she said
Her strength, her stance, the way she walked
Remember these instead
The good advice she’d give us
Her eyes that shone with laughter
So much of her will never die
But live on ever after
As we loved her, so we miss her
In our memory, Keri-Lynn, you are near
Loved, remembered, Longed for always
Bring many a silent tear.

Keri-Lynn leaves behind her Loving Husband Glenn of 21 years and her children Mathieu and Nathalie who she loved beyond words. She also leaves behind her devoted Dad, Harold Neustaeter; her brother Blaine Neustaeter (TR) and their children Quinn and Zander. She was predeceased by her Mom, Irene Neustaeter on Jan 16, 2009. Along the years, Keri-Lynn had also added several Honorary Family members who considered Keri-Lynn a Sister, an Aunt and a Godmother. You all know who you are.

  16. I met Keri-Lynn in grade 5 and over the years, remained friends. Even as months went by and we didn’t see each other, it didn’t matter, cause when we did, we just picked up where we left off. I am glad I went today, to say goodbye. I know you will be walking beside me in Oct at the breast cancer run. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Not long ago I was blessed to have an hour visiting with Keri-Lynn while we waited to see a guidance counsellor at Bishop McNally High School and I will always treasure the memory of a dedicated Mother and a lovely, warm, funny, honest human being who made the wait delightful and informative. What a joyful person. Heaven will be brighter with her there. God bless you with peace, acceptance and grace.

I will never forget how she got back in touch and how she always remembered me, as I will her.
