Condolence Messages

  1. Kathleen Kaye (MacIntosh)

I was saddened to hear of Aunt Jeans passing. One of my fondest childhood memories is a train trip to visit our dad Doug’s family in Saskatchewan including Aunt Jean and her family. She was so kind and welcoming to our rather large family. Rest easy Aunt Jean

Our sincerest condolences to Murray, Sharon, and family. My Favorite Auntie Jean story was when I was about 10 or 12. She actually trusted me to carry her Royal albert teapot in the elevator down to the common room in their condo in Regina. In true Scott fashion I was acting up and showing off to my cousins, and I broke her teapot. When I told her that I had broke it, in her beautiful, loving, forgiving fashion she leaned into me and said ‘that’s ok, I didn’t like that one anyway. Now Uncle Lorne can buy me a new one’! She was always such a classy lady.
Much love, Scott and Bernice MacIntosh

RIP Aunt Jean. I have not seen you on a very long time. The last time was in 1985 when I visited Vernon and you and Uncle Lorne came and picked me up and took me home for dinner at your house. You served your famous Flapper Pie. I will always remember your kindness and also how much you resemble my mother Peggy.
    Much love
    Michele Susan Rodda
