It is with great sadness mixed with great joy that we announce that Inger Andreasen passed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 16, 2015, at the age of 92.

Inger was born in Naestved, Denmark. In 1957 Inger and Daniel and their young family immigrated to Canada.

Inger was a loving Mor, Farmor, Oldemor, sister, aunt and friend, and we were blessed to know and be known by her for so many years. To know her was to love her.

Inger is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Lars and Barb and Niels and Marion; her seven grandchildren, Matthew (Pamela), Cody (Amanda), Jordan (Stephanie), Lindsay (Jesse), Erik (Kendra), Spencer (Kathryn), and Dustin (Jaimie); nine great-grandchildren, Logan, Cohen, Holly, Grace, Margot, Astrid, Hayes, Samuel and Lars; her brother, Bent Petersen (Karen), her sister-in-law Inger Petersen and her brother-in-law Robert Nielsen. She is also survived by numerous neices and nephews, and many many friends. Inger was predeceased by her husband Daniel (2000), her parents, Herman and Martha Petersen, her brothers Erik Petersen and Johannes Petersen and her sister Ruth Nielsen.

A Memorial Service in honour of Inger’s life will be held at First Evangelical Free Church (732 – 55 Avenue S.W, Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
