What two words describe a human being who is a champion, a warrior, a philanthropist, a patriot, a loving patriarch, a kind mentor, a friend forever no matter what, and who has left us to join his beloved? Those two words are ‘Bob Alexander.’
We hold his family in our hearts at this time.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. We remember him when we first moved into Lethbridge. We were in Bob & Margaret’s bible study group. After he moved to Calgary, he was so faithful in calling Doug every year on his birthday. That was one of his ministries, to connect with people. So sorry for your loss. Blessings of comfort as you journey through this mourning period.

My condolences to the family of a great man. I was so shocked to hear of Bob’s untimely passing, as I had just spoken with him two weeks earlier, and always enjoyed speaking with him when he would call me on my birthday. I had the privilege and benefits of his professional services since 1971, and will truly miss his many telephone calls and genuine interest in my family. Rest in peace good friend.

Condolence from Barb Cole on May 3rd, 2018 4:54 PM

I am unable to attend the service, but I will sure be thinking about you all. And, like so many of Bob’s friends, young and old, I’ll be thinking of him every year on his birthday, my husband’s and my own – because that’s when we always took a few minutes to “catch up”. He talked about each of you, how proud he was of you, and how exciting the future was. He was a good friend and I was lucky to start my career working with him.

Condolence from Dick Haney on May 5th, 2018 3:36 AM

Joyce and I are so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. We first had the opportunity to know Bob and Margaret when Bob and I both served on the Board of the Lethbridge College in the mid eighties. Bob and I maintained our relationship through the years and I always valued his friendship, his knowledge and his mentorship. His view of the world was always “big picture” and he had a very positive outlook on the world, always putting others before himself. Please allow us to express our condolences.
