Les, beloved husband of Marion of Calgary, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the age of 81 years.

Les was a dedicated, life-long member of the Heritage Lions Club. Les, along with his wife Marion, worked at the CNIB. He was also involved in the planning and development of the Deer Valley and Queensland subdivisions.

Les is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Marion; his daughter, Laurie; and sons, Randy and Darrel.

In living memory of Les Aasen, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB, T2X 3J3, Telephone: 403-256-9575.

  6. To Marion, Laurie, Randy and Daryl. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband /father. I too lost my father 11/2 years ago and totally understand how you feel. I didn’t know Les very well only the many times I came by to hang out with Laurie when we were kids. He was always so very nice to me. I know as time passes it will make it a little easier to cope. Our parents are everything to us I know this. Please know that your dad/ husband is there with you always I really do believe that. Please take care of yourselves.
