ZADOROZNY, Alice Melanie (nee Melnyk)
December 16, 1920 – December 18, 2011
Alice Zadorozny of Calgary passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011, after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 91 years.
Alice volunteered at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre and Meals on Wheels and was a long time member of Holy Cross Anglican Church.
Alice is survived by her children, Darlene Bucholz, Don Zadorozny and Gary Zadorozny; grandchildren, Derek, Ryan, Allison (Joseph) and Tammy (Chad); great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jeff, Brandon, Joshua, Hailey, Clea, Ethan, Emily, Matthew. She is also survived by her sister Elsie (Peter) Pana and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Zadorozny, her brother Ted Melnyk, daughter-in-law Georgina Zadorozny and nephew Lyndon Pana.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Cross Anglican Church (2828 – 19th Street NW) on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Services to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
