Cori was born on October 30, 1988 and passed away at the tender age of 17 years on Monday, February 13, 2006.
Cori attended the Milo School and loved her hobbies of cooking, home-economics, and her favourite sport basketball. She was looked up to by her younger sisters and brother as a role model, whom they will miss very much.
Cori was predeceased by her grandmothers, Delphine Black Rider and Margaret Big Snake; her sister, Kayla Faye Youngman; and her aunts Eleanor and Rowena Big Snake. Cori is survived by her mother Sharon Black Rider; Father Derwin Youngman; her sisters Kelsey, Candice, Krissy, Alicia, and Joenie; brother Kobe; grandfathers Dennis Black Rider Sr. and Donald McMaster; uncles, Dennis Black Rider (Trudy), Quinn Black Rider (Julia), Clayton Black Rider (Kendra), Byron Black Rider (Janet), Harley Youngman (Verna), and Rory; aunts Katie Red Old Man (Russell Sr.), Denise Eyman (Tom), Tracy Black Rider (Warren), Germaine McMaster (Donald), Tanya Youngman (Les), and Donalda Youngman (Mark III) and a very special aunt Louise Pretty Youngman (Jason); the Black Rider, Crow Chief, Big Snake, Sitting Eagle, Pretty Youngman, McMaster, Poor Eagle, Weasel Child and Water Chief Families. Cori will also be sadly missed by her two best friends whom she took as sisters that were always part of her day, Brooke Many Bears and Nicole Drunken Chief.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Derwin and Sharon Youngman (Siksika Nation, AB) on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Monday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
