it is with deep sympathy I write this. I’ve know Vallen for 7 years and I personally got the privaledge to look after him for food at the Chowderhouse / Greenbean. Vallen has always been very professional Chef and thoughtful of others. I always think the people in my life will be with me forever.. then reality strikes and brings everyone back down to earth. I’m very sorry for your lose.

I am so sad for Vallen’s family and friends who have lost so suddenly a good man. I have worked with Vallen for nearly 20 years, he has my respect for his professional attitude and his hard work. The evening we lost Vallen I know he was a happy man as he shared with me his feeling of success both at work and at home, he was so proud of his family and his team at work. Vallen was looking forward to a relaxing week ahead
We will miss him

I am so sad and devastated for the loss of my friend and co-worker, Val. I’ve worked with him for many years, known him longer. I’ll miss his generous spirit and amazing work ethic…as he would say “I can’t believe.” Val, we’ll all miss you.
To the Yau Family
