Larry Yarmchuk, beloved husband of Caryl Yarmchuk of Calgary, passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the age of 64 years.
Larry was born on December 12, 1941. He was a thinker, philosopher and visionary. Larry knew how to anticipate others’ needs and was generous and giving, always putting his family first. He was a passionate golfer with a twinkle in his eye that subtly suggested his dry sense of humour.
Besides his loving wife of thirty-nine years Caryl, Larry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tanya, John and Erin, all of Calgary; and three grandchildren, Damon, Noah and Hailey. He is also survived by two sisters, Lou-Jane (Gerry) Hilgenberg and Joyce (Gene) Clark; his brother Ron Yarmchuk; numerous nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Doris; and sister Florence.
