Ron Workman, beloved husband of Beverley Workman of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the age of 66 years.
Ron was born and raised on a farm near Brussels, ON. He married Bev Helm on October 30, 1965 in Rosetown, SK. They resided in Saskatoon and moved to Calgary in 1969 where he worked as a crane operator and was a member of local 955 until he retired in 2004.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Bev; son and daughter-in-law Trevor Workman and Teresa Morcom; two grandchildren Tristan and Teah Workman; four brothers, Charlie (Delores), Doug, Dave (Donna) and Frank (Cathy) and their families; Bev’s father Harold Helm; Bev’s sisters Gail (Terry) McBride and Glenda (Grant) Lonsberry; and Bev’s brother Brian (June) Helm and their family. He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Isabel Workman; two brothers Barry and Bill; and two sisters Ruth and Marnie.
