WOOLLEY, Frederick “Lloyd”

July 8, 1929 – Regina, SK
September 28, 2013 – Calgary, AB

Frederick Lloyd Woolley, best known as Lloyd, passed away peacefully in the early morning on September 28th.

Lloyd’s strong love of family was obvious throughout his lifetime, and felt particularly evident during his last hours which were spent with many loved ones close by his side. Lloyd’s distinct character, hardworking nature, and sense of humour are a few of many personality traits we will not forget. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur and athlete, Lloyd’s personal relationships were always a priority.

While Lloyd will be dearly missed by friends and family, we know that he is happily reunited with his beloved wife Olga and son Brian. Lloyd’s presence will remain in the hearts of his children Don Woolley (Pai Apahun), Diane Byram-Braun (Rudy Braun), Sharon Bitz and Janice Alberts (Bill); grandchildren Lisa (Joey), Mark, Amy, Carla, Michelle, Bridget, Marina and Taylor; as well as Lloyd’s brother Don Woolley (Floydey) and sister Doreen Klatt and numerous loving extended family.

A Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery (4th Street & 31st Avenue N.W.) on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.

A Celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Lloyd Woolley, a tree will be planted at Big Hill Springs Park Cochrane by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W. Calgary, AB, T2S 2L5, Telephone: 403-243-8200
