Leo James Levi or “Wally” to his family was born on February 9, 2006 to proud parents, Jolanda Abraham and James Wolf Tail. Like a ray of sunshine, Leo brought joy and happiness to those who knew him, if only for this brief period. He was a happy baby and family members will forever remember his infectious smile.
Leo will be fondly remember by his parents James and Jolanda, of the Pikani and Stoney First Nations; his brothers Rory (Helene), and Bo, of Big Horn, AB and John, of Morley, AB and one niece, Jewels, of Big Horn; his grandparents Joe and Verda Abraham, of Big Horn, Lloyd Wolf Tail of Pikani Nation and Gloria Little Plume, of Calgary, AB. Little “Wally” will also be remembered by his maternal aunts and uncles, Rayline (Howard) Walroth-Poucette, Michelle (Floyd) Beaver, Lindsay Abraham, Eldrena (Clint) Dixon, Ramona Rabbit, Terry Lynn (Kim) Fox, Brandy Rabbit, Eldred Poucette, Vincent (Agnes) Abraham, Harry (Arlivia) Abraham, Keith (Karen) Cecil and Melvin Good Running. Leo is also survived by paternal aunts and uncles, Theresa and Misty Wolf Tail, Jody White Cow, Willy Wolf Tail, Malcolm, Bradley and Cory White Cow; his great aunt Linda Rides At The Door; and by a large extended family at the Pikani and Stoney First Nations. His parents will dearly miss little “Wally” but they take comfort in knowing that he has been called home to the Creator a pure spirit.
