WILSON, Mary Margaret

July 14, 1941- Nanaimo, British Columbia
June 16, 2013 – Camrose, Alberta

Mary Margaret, “Mary Marg” Wilson beloved wife of Thomas of Camrose, AB, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the age of 71 years.

Mary Marg was born in Nanaimo and raised in Parksville, BC, where she met and married her first husband, Merl Johnson. Together they moved to Kamloops where their children, Mary Ellen and Duncan, were born. In 1977, she and the children then moved to Calgary, joining her second life partner, Tom Wilson. Mary Marg was employed with CIBC for over thirty years in both BC and AB. She loved to entertain, garden and garage sale. Mary Marg enjoyed winters with Tom in Arizona, where they made many friends over the years. She was a vibrant, outgoing woman, full of life who always left a lasting impression. Mary Marg enjoyed spending time with her family and loved watching her grandkids participate in their many activities. She will be remembered fondly and greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mary Margaret is survived by her husband Tom Wilson, daughter and son-in-law Mary Ellen and Art Larson, their children Reece and Aimee, son and daughter-in-law Duncan and Marla Johnson, their children Charlie and Logan, Tom’s children Linda Wilson, Debbie Carusi, Shelley Shevalier, Mike Wilson, Lisa Anderson and their families, two sisters and a brother; Joan Clisch, Robert (Maureen) Hickey and Janet (Doug) Trim, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Hickey.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
