WILLIAMS, Philip Graham

July 24, 1933 – Blaina, South Wales
November 27, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Williams on November 27, 2014 at the age of 81 years.

As he wished, Philip passed away at home with his beautiful wife by his side; as she always was. He was a brilliant, honest, kind, compassionate and gentle man who taught us all so much and loved us all unconditionally along our journey together. He will be missed by his loving family and many friends.

He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 57 years, Jill; his beloved daughter Jane who he was so proud of, and his son-in-law Bill whom he thought of as a son; and his granddaughters Tayla and Ashley who he loved with all his heart.

A Celebration of Philip’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through

In living memory of Philip Williams, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Crowfoot, 82 CROWFOOT CIRCLE N.W. Telephone: 403-241-0044.

  3. Cynthia and Stephen Urquhart :

    Jill and Family,
Steve and I were so sorry about Philip’s passing last week. We only had the opportunity to meet him on a couple of occasions (however, had lots of opportunities to wave) but it was still so evident how much he loved, and was proud of, his family. Jill, our family have always watched you from across the street being the ever devoted and loving spouse to Phil. We have seen the commitment of your daughter, son-in-law and wonderful grandchildren as they stop by your home.
He was so blessed to have all of you and may the wonderful memories you have help you when things get tough. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cynthia and Steve Urquhart
