WILLIAMS – Quentin (Benny) Durward

September 21, 1919 – August 12, 2010

Quentin (Benny) Durward Williams, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the age of 90 years.

He was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan on September 21, 1919.

Benny is survived by his children, Mojo (Lynn) Williams, Derry Williams (Donna), Brian Williams (Anne Marie), Marietta Dawodu, Benny Williams (Marva), Myron Williams, Michael Champagne (Barb), Linda Williams (Keith), Rod Williams (Dee), Candise Vibert (Lance), Tom Williams (Ruth), Sheri Hollifield (Sean); as well as daughter-in-law Laurie Champagne; thirty-one grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Curtis Williams and Theodore Williams; and sister Marlene Johnson.

Benny was predeceased by his wife Margaret Williams; as well as James Williams, Rene Champagne, James (Togey) Williams, Mickey Williams, Jerry Williams, Patrick Williams, and Henrietta Williams.

A Celebration of Benny’s Life will be held at Calgary Standard Church (1307 – 10th Avenue S.E.) on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Bethany Harvest Hills.
