  1. Donna Sproule :

I, among many will miss Linda’s physical presence…and I am always comforted by the words of Harold Panabaker, who spoke at my father’s memorial in 1975… ‘You will see me when You look into another’s eyes… You will hear me in another’s voice and You will feel me in another’s embrace’… Linda taught us all to live, love and laugh!
    Celebrate her life!

  2. Hi,

I worked with Linda Williams on many film productions including “North of 60” and more recently on “When Calls the Heart”. She always had a warm hug for me whenever we met. I’ll never forget her ‘one-of-a-kind’ laugh and her energy!

  3. Patty Beatty-Guenter :

Greetings to you, all of Linda’s people. My name is Patty Beatty-Guenter. Linda called me P. We were toddlers on the same corner of Parkdale and have been lifelong friends.

My dear friend Linda self-appointed herself my protector, and gave holy hell to everyone who has ever hurt me.

My dear friend Linda and I ran wild as Calgary teenagers, together with our pals June and Dorothy. We roved the city, went to all the music, tried everything and had a huge gang of friends. We were the belles of the Highlander Hotel in its heyday, treating the bar there like our own private party.

Page, you have had a very special mom. Al, Barry, Leah, Barbara and Russell, I know you will miss your crazy sister like anything. I join you in your grieving. I know that Linda wants you to miss her but not be sad. So lift your spirits if you can – make a joke and know that’s what she wants you to do.

    Love to you all, Patty

  4. I had the privilege of working with Linda on my first movie. Typical of these shows we had no money and less time. Linda made magic. She was inspired, involved and wildly generous. She also gave me the great gift of believing in me, a first time director. I am so sorry she’s gone and send my best wishes to Page, a son she adored.

  5. I will miss Linda’s joy and laughter so much. It was her laughter that drew me to her way back in 1974 on the loading dock of Project Recycling. Linda made it possible for me to meet my lifetime partner Patty for which I am eternally grateful. Linda made life fun; she always accentuated the positive. Linda was a very strong and compassionate woman; she was joy in the face of adversity.

I will miss Linda’s joy and laughter so much …

    Love,
    Ken

  7. Kristian Leach :

I worked with Linda as her personal trainer over the last couple of years. Out of all of my clients she always walked into the gym with the most energy,a contagious smile, and zest for life.
She astounded me with her positive attitude even when faced with the news of her illness. In the couple of years that I knew her she made a big impact on me personally. She showed me the true meaning of the word strength. Her humor, energy, compassion for others, and fighting spirit with be fondly remembered.
My condolences to Page and the rest of the Williams family.

  11. Page..
Your Mom was one of the best, her kindness to all, her beautiful smile that was very contagious, her caring ways that effected so many that she helped and even with the heartache we all feel right now please take comfort in knowing your mom was inspiration. Your mom will continue to inspire with the lasting memories that were created by the many who had the privilege and honor in knowing such a special soul. The many special conversations I had the privilege of sharing with your mom she always loved shaving and speaking about her beloved child. It was so very clear.. Your mom was so very proud of you and it certainly showed in her eyes as they would always light up with such love, with such pride, with such joy and it never failed to bring a tear to my eyes. Please take comfort in knowing your mom’s love for you her special child has not ended but grown and will continue to grow as she watches over you with our heavenly Father and all the other special angels in a placed called heaven. Your mom has earned her wings and will be your forever gaurdian Angel.
    Rest in peace.
