I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Laurie’s passing which I had just learnt! My deepest sympathy to Laurie’s mom and sisters and esp. to Laurie’s daughters: Tammy and Lisa, whom I knew when they were so young. My family used to be such close friends with the Wickwires when we first came to Calgary, and we will never forget their kindness and love welcoming us into theirs. We had fun times together listening to Laurie play the polka on the piano or partaking in those wonderful meals he cooked! My deepest sympathy to the family as well for the loss of Laurie’s father. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Tammy/Lisa, I’d appreciate it if you could please have your mom call me. God bless.
