We were shocked to learn of the sudden passing of a father and son and the critical injuries
Vivian suffered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Words do not seem adequate, we are sure, for you to fully express the magnitude of the loss you all must feel. Our concern, too, is with dear Vivian. We pray for rapid healing and pray she is spared severe pain despite her injuries. Our son, Wes, loved his father and mother-in-law – his love for you, Vivian, was so evident. Our hearts are heavy for each one of you. May God bless you in a special way and give you strength and courage as you grieve such an enormous loss!

  14. Ivy, Dylan, Natasha, & Aiyana Walter-Pinay :

Dearest Vivian & family, words cannot express how sorry we are for the loss of your wonderful husband Laurel and for the loss of another loving son Laurie. We will never forget how you two lovingly picked up Aiyana & I from the hospital and how carefully and lovingly Laurel put my brand new newborn daughter safely into her seatbelt. You treated us like we were your own family. We had great visits, of course never enough of them, terrific meals together along with good conversation. We watched as you lovingly took care of Greg. We never got the pleasure to meet Barb or Bev but after talking to your parents we certainly felt as though we knew you girls! Take care of your beautiful mother. Vivian we love you very much. Love Ivy, Jason, Dylan, Natasha, & Aiyana

  15. Brett Smith :

    Dear Wickwire family,

I had the pleasure of briefly knowing Laurie in a business relationship. You tend to learn of a man’s priorities during the first few moments of meeting them. Laurie was quick to talk about his family and it was quite apparent how much they meant to him!
I feel a sense of loss after having briefly known Laurie, so I can’t even imagine what his loved ones must be experiencing at this sad time.

My prayers go out to each and every member of Laurie’s family, during this difficult time.

    Sincerely,
    Brett Smith, Eagle, Idaho (USA)
