Condolence Messages

  1. It was a sad day when I heard that Brian had passed away. My condolences to Brian’s daughters and sisters. I was the General Manager at Silver Springs from 1995 to 2006. I got to know Brian quite well and looked forward to seeing him on a daily basis. His work ethic and dedication to Silver Springs was incredible setting standards that all the younger employees tried to keep up with. He will be missed.

  2. My wife Brenda and I are members at Silver Springs Golf Course and have known “Brisy” for some time, and our son Jason worked with him for 7 years. Please accept our condolences and wish you peace as you deal with your loss. I will always remember Brisy as he rolled around the golf course and will miss giving him a wave. He will be missed.

  3. Brendan Black :

I’d like to send my sincere condolences to the Whitby family. I worked for Brizy at Silver Spring some 20 years ago in my late teens. I remember him always getting the job done, no matter what, and done well. I learned a lot about the importance of a good work ethic by working beside him.
Silver Springs will surely miss his quiet and all-knowing leadership.
    Sincerely, Brendan Black

  4. It is with sincere sadness that I send my sympathy to Brizy’s family. Brizy worked along side me for 15 years and I valued his knowledge, his work ethic and his subtle sense of humour. To say that Brizy will be missed is an understatement. I relied on his 30 years of knowledge of our golf course and could not have achieve the success we have without his input. Rest peacefully Brizy.
    Paul

  5. John & Irene Black :

We were always aware of Brizy’s work at Silver Springs in particular his quite and efficent manner. His influence on our two son’s, who worked with him some 20 years ago about a honest days work, has influenced them in their work habits to this day. For that we are most appreciative. He’ll be missed!

  6. Scott Trollope :

Our condolences to Brizy’s family for their (and Silver Springs) loss. During my time on the Greens Committee I came to understand in detail what he meant to the smooth operations of the grounds crew – he was a real mainstay of that group. A real master at working miracles with just the tools he had and sometimes not much for raw materials. I know Paul and the guys relied heavily on him and he will be missed greatly.

  10. It saddened my day when I learned that Brian had passed on. Quiet, unassuming and always working hard on the most important job of the day on the golf course. Always a perfect repair or installation. We can only hope that Brian’s co workers learned from his wealth of knowledge ,experience, work ethic and dedication to the Club. His return wave on the course as he barreled that truck to the next job will be very much missed. Heartfelt condolences to Brizy’s family on your loss.
