  1. maureen & brian belway :

Wendy & family, we are so sorry for your loss. From the day we first met your Mom & Dad in Cuba we knew we had met some very special people. As Van put it he “picked us up on the beach” and we had such fun with him, Barb, Joyce & Allen. I loved seeing him in the front entry chair at Arbour as if he was on guard duty. I alway called him “handsome” ! He was a true gentleman and Brian & I were truly blessed to call your Mom & Dad friends. I hope that he is sitting century and having a chat with our Grandma Lydia. Blessings to your family.

    To The Whitaker Family

We were very sorry to learn that Van had passed away and we offer our most sincere sympathy to all of you. We enjoyed a lot of good times with Van and Barb in earlier years – golf vacations in Phoenix, social gatherings and golf in Bearspaw, and have missed those times in the past number of years. Van will be happy now to join Barb and we wish him eternal peace, and hope that happy memories of Van will help you through your very sad loss.
