“Jode”- Where do we start? The world just isn’t the same without you! You were such a great friend and we miss you so much already. We are so lucky to have had you in our lives for as long as we did. We have so many great memories of you that go way back and we will cherish them forever. We keep looking back through pictures and remembering what a great time we had. Man did we have some good times!! I think everyone agrees that you lived life to the fullest!
I was honored when you were a bridesmaid for me at our wedding. There was no doubt that you were going to be a special part of our day. We thank you for making it so special for us!
Starbucks, Stampede, Tango, Girls night and Ranchman’s will never be the same. Everytime I order a London Fog from Starbuck’s, I think of you! I (and probably Jason) blame you for my Starbucks addiction!!! 🙂
We hope that you rest in peace and continue to look out for us, your family and Nate. I hope that you are still up for our chats ’cause I know that I’ll still be asking for your advice!

    Until we meet again………

  18. Dear Jody,
Like everyone else, I am shocked and deeply sadden at your passing. Words cannot truly express…
We hadn’t been in touch since we moved to Arizona over a year ago and I truly wish that could be changed. From the early beginnings of our friendship (1998) in the “good ole days” of The House, the group trips (Especially to the Bahamas), and continuing as we matured into the “adults” we are today. I had the opportunity to work with you when we held functions at Hotel Arts and you were always so willing to help out. You were always so easy going, fun to be around, had a great sense of humour, and a smile that was so contagious. I will miss you.
I was looking at some photos of you and Shawna at my 39th birthday party… so radiant!
To Nate, Shirley, Reg, and Kelly,
There are no words that I can say that will take away the pain that you must be feeling. I can only sympathize and offer, that in this short time Jody was with us, she touch so many people in such a positive way, we are all truly blessed for having the opportunity to have known her and loved her.
    Paul.

As soon as Jody started at the hotel, it was very clear to see that she was a very confident, caring person who worked hard and was passionate about her career. Although I only worked with Jody for a short time, I truly admired her for her compassion towards others. She was well liked by everyone she worked with and was the type of person that you were drawn into because of her friendly and outgoing personality. Again, my deepest sympathy for the loss of such an amazing soul.
