Jim, beloved husband of Marilyn, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 82 years.
Jim was born in Lethbridge, and moved to Calgary at a young age. He attended St. Annes and St Marys Boys High School, earning an athletic scholarship to Notre Dame University. He obtained a degree in geology and went on to work in the oil and gas drilling industry. He was a man of integrity and honor, forming many close friends among his colleagues. Jim, (“Mr. Calgary”) was well known, extending his hand to many as he went about his day. Jim was involved in many business ventures during his years in Calgary; he was loved and respected among his colleagues and peers. Among his many accomplishments, Jim excelled in many sports and was an expert wine maker, winning many awards in all he pursued. He was a life time member of the YMCA and a member of Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club for many years.
Besides his loving wife of fifty-four years, Jim is survived by two sons, Bill and Bryan, and close personal friend Barry O’Meara. He was predeceased by his son Tom, his brother Bill, and his parents.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Community Church (800 – 85 Street S.W.) on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
