Georgina ‘Nan’ Westcott, beloved wife of Alex Westcott, passed away on March 6, 2015 at the age of 96 years.
Nan was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec where she married Alex on June 8, 1940. They raised their daughters and son in a house of love and laughter. In the late 1980’s, Nan and Pa moved to Calgary and took up camping. They camped all over Canada and the United States. Nan was an avid knitter and everyone had handmade sweaters and anything else she could knit. She also would knit for people she didn’t know out of the goodness of her heart. Nan is now with the love of her life and will surely be missed by many. We love you Nan.
Nan is lovingly remembered by her daughters Eileen and Marilyn, Son in law Bill and foster son, Robin (Kenneth Jones); grandchildren, Duane and Neil Wells, Stephen and Eric Krenz, and Marilyn and Bruce Jones; and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Thea Wells. Nan was predeceased by her husband Alex Westcott, and parents, Thomas and Agnus Connelly.
