Ambrose Wesley-Beaver passed away suddenly at his residence on the evening of Monday, August 15, 2011.
Ambrose received his education in Morley, Exshaw, and received his diploma in Social Work at Mount Royal College. He was also employed with Alberta Transportation as a grader operator. He was very active in sports- winning the Treaty 7 Championships in hockey, played baseball, and was founder of the North Star Nuggets women’s fastball team.
Ambrose is survived by his companion and best friend, Donna; his children Edgar, Ambrose Jr., and Jordana (Darcy); stepchildren Edlyn (Tyson), Nadine, Oliver, Mary Alice (Glen), Floyd (Yolanda); adopted children Jolanda Abraham, Agnes Kootenay–Dixon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Gregory and Bruce (Florence); in-laws Watson, Alice, and Georgie Kaquitts; extended families are Beaver, Cecil, Bigstoney, Snow, Crawler, Wesley, and Dixon Kaquitts. He was predeceased by his father Judea Wesley-Beaver in 1980, mother Mary Wesley-Beaver 1994; sisters Dolores, Doreen, and Claudia; brothers Leonard, Isaac, and Claude; granddaughter Jade; step-daughter Teresa; and many other relatives and friends.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Donna Kaquitts (Morley, AB) on Thursday, August 18, 2011, and on Friday, August 19, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery.Print This Obituary & Condolences
