Dorothy Wendell, beloved wife of the late Emil Wendell, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the age of 90 years.
Dorothy Isabel Seath was born on April 11, 1924 to Blyth and Dorothy Seath. She was to join older sisters Jean and Harriet into the growing Seath clan. In the years to follow, her brother John and her twin siblings Alice and Jimmy were born. Dorothy grew up in Provost, AB and following WWII married Emil Wendell. They lived and raised their three children in Provost before moving in 1973 to Williams Lake, BC. Following Emil’s death, Dorothy moved back to Alberta settling in Airdrie, AB where she remained until her passing.
Dorothy leaves to mourn her loss, her three children, Lorna, Myrna (Larry) and Tom (Pam); her grandchildren, Vanessa (Lorne), Teena (Chris), Corinna (Trent), Robyn (Jim), Cindy (Allan), Brett (Janessa), Kristi (Dalton), Blake (Marika), Trent, Jordan, and Scott; and great-grandchildren, Sidney, Grayson, Nolan, London, Jack, Mae, Olin, Elyn, Vann, Veda, Emma, and Gracie.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Emil; parents Blyth and Dorothy Seath; her sisters and brothers, Jean (Bill) Lane, Harriet (Benny) Flaade, Alice (Lawrence) Klinger, and John (Anne); and infant brother Jimmy.
Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, AB) on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
