  2. To the Wedell Family my deepest sympathy. I knew David all of his 70 years: From taking the ‘short cut’ through Waskasso Creek at lunch hour, skipping school, snow ball fights, our first beers out of the Doc’s stone cellar in the cottage at Sylvan, to many memorable rounds of golf together.
David always had a smile, a laugh and a very, very bright mind; ready with a quip, most often dry but always ‘on the money’.
    He will be missed.
    Sincerely,
    Brian

  11. I just returned from New York and am very sorry to have missed the Celebration of Dave’s Life. We were very close during our school years. Many fond memories we built together will always remain with me. The whole Weddell family was an important part of my growing up. I remember Pete and Rob well and Suzy was just a little girl. That big old house on Waskasoo Crescent was always a meeting place for Dave and his friends. He will be dearly missed by all of us. I am fortunate to have had him as a friend.
