WEBB, Elizabeth (Liz) Strachen (nee Scott)

July 19, 2013 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, Elizabeth Webb, on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the age of 76.

Born and raised in Plunkett, Saskatchewan, the family settled in Calgary in 1967, where they have resided for the last forty-six years.

Liz is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years Ted (Edward); daughter Pam (Shane) Douglas; son Loy (Tara); grandsons Nicholas, Christopher, Justin and Sam; younger sister Jenny (Jack) Pichette; brother-in-law Duncan Robertson and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her older sister Anne Robertson.

A Celebration of Liz’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:30p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Rd.
