Condolence Messages

  1. Madeleine Macdonald :

    Dear Don and entire family,

I am so very saddened to hear about the loss of Doreen. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be tremendously missed.

I have fond memories of her love of cooking, entertaining, gardening, traveling, fashion, designing and renovating, politics and above all being with her family. She was a wonderful hostess with the gift of bringing people together, and was always so kind and generous including my family on special occasions.

Doreen was a wonderful role model, a matriarch with strength of character, who had a profound impact on her family and who taught her children well.

May all of you find comfort in your memories and the memories of those who knew her, and in the knowledge that each and every one of you gave her life rich meaning and purpose.

    With sincere and heartfelt condolences,
    Madeleine

  15. Hi Gaye

Greg in not so sunny vancouver here

Although I did not meet your mom that many times – I do remember her as quite the character with plenty of ‘joie de vivre’ on those few /family occasions when we did interact.

If more people had that quality this world would be a happier/better place w/o a doubt.

Best always to you /Jeff & your children & all the family & friends who really knew & will miss your mom dearly no doubt.

    Greg
