WATKINS, Ruth

October 14, 1920 – February 9, 2013

Ruth Watkins was called by the Lord to be at his side on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the age of 92 years. After a full life she passed peacefully at the Hillcrest Care Centre in Calgary.

Ruth was born on October 14, 1920 to Tom and Edith Brown.

She is survived by her children, Thomas, Allan “Bud”, Annette Buchholz (Allan) and Douglas (Nicole); as well as by younger brother Rod Brown (Dorothy); sixteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd; sister Olive Myles; and brothers Allan and Gordon Brown.

At Ruth’s request, no funeral service will take place. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hillcrest Care Centre and Whitehorn Village for the care that Mom received.
