  15. My heart goes out to you. She was my best friend, was very much loved by all, and is greatly missed. Her love of life, her love of others, and her huge heart will be forever missed. I miss her quirky sense of humour, her love/hate for Johnny Depp with all his misdeeds, and her obsession with Captain Jack Sparrow.
Mary-Ann was very inventive with her humour, and her ideas, both of which are a great loss to all of us she has left behind.
I love you Mary-Ann. See you on the Other Side.

Words cannot express how chocked we were to hear about the passing of your Mom. Please know that we are there for you if you need anything. I can tell you that there was never a conversation with your Mom over the past 23 years that we were neighbours that she didn’t brag about all your accomplishments – she was so proud of you both. And from what I hear from Melanie who saw her and Lyle a few weeks ago that pride in her kids was stronger than ever.

I am so very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your mom. She was a lovely lady who always went above and beyond – especially for her children and their activities. She thought the world of you both and always spoke very highly of you two. I can still remember her delicious goodies and remember her doing cross stitching and making scarves in the waiting room at the dance studio.

She was a talented lady with an infectious smile and warm heart who will be missed by all those that knew her.

Cherish all of your wonderful memories and know that she will always be a part of you and continue to be proud of you both.

  35. I will miss Mary-Anne very much. She was always there with a warm and generous heart and a ready smile and laugh. I count myself lucky to have had her in my life and to call her friend.

I feel that I can’t really do her justice with words. Know that she is in my thoughts and my heart.

Heather and David, you have my deepest sympathy. Your mom spoke of you often with much pride and love. It was very obvious just how much the two of you meant to her. I don’t think we ever had a conversation where she failed to mention you.

Her love will always be with you.

Mary-Ann lived with us for several years, she was always smiling and joking around. We loved her. I cannot add more, but say ditto to the comments above. She will be missed, I am sure her and my Mom(Leona Derricott) are having a great chat and catching up on things right now. She is still with you and watching over you. This life is but a brief (however sometimes seems long when things are not great) moment in the eternities.
    Love and hugs and hope
