WARD, Kenneth (Kenny) Rodney

October 15, 1956 – Drumheller, AB
December 22, 2013 – Calgary, AB

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kenny Ward on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of 57 years.

Kenny was born October 15, 1956 to Ken and Madeline Ward in Drumheller, AB.

Kenny was an infectious soul, loved by many, liked by all. Even during hard times he would willingly help anyone if he could. He had a special bond with his mother. He made sure to try and visit every second day and phoned her every night, she will truly miss him.

Kenny loved to tell stories and dance. He loved to make people laugh and did so effortlessly. It wouldn’t take long before you were crying and your stomach ached and he wouldn’t let up. And if you were willing, he would dance the night away with you.

Kenny will truly be missed by all he touched.

Kenny is survived by his daughter Jenny; his mother Madeline; siblings, Perry (Tammy), David, Rhonda (Wayne), Miles (Dana), Kari (Bruce) and Shawn and numerous nieces and nephews; his Aunts, Edna and Anne and numerous cousins.

Kenny was predeceased by his father Ken in June 1983; brother Gordon in Feb 1984; infant sister Lorie and grandmother Maeline (Granny) in 1988.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

To all the family I wish you all peace and joy when you think of this young man, who you said touched everyone is such a positive way.
