WALDEN, Pamela Mary (nee Jackson)

June 23, 1928 – January 3, 2013

Pamela Mary Walden (Jackson) 84 of Calgary died peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2013.

Pam will be fondly remembered for her zest for life and adventure, sense of humour, independence, generosity, compassion, and contagious joie de vivre. She had endless strength and energy, which prevailed in everything she did, from raising a family to hiking in the jungles of Borneo.

She was the devoted wife of the late Frederick Ellsworth Walden, and is survived by her loving daughters Lori Walden Craig, Jennifer Walden, Gail Walden Paul all presently residing in Calgary, son Ben Walden of Kelowna, sister Betty Sutherland of Peachland, BC, and brother James Jackson of Victoria, and five grandchildren.

A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held at Central United Church (131 – 7th Avenue S.W.) on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Central United Church Building Fund (131 – 7th Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2P 0W5)
