December 20, 1962 – May 1, 2013
Carolyn Vienneau, beloved wife of Micheal Vienneau has passed away after an eight year battle with ovarian cancer on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the age of 50 years.
On December 20, 1962 an angel was sent from heaven to the proud parents of Pearl McKay (nee Perry) and Lowell McKay, in the town of Amherst N.S. At an early age the family moved to Hamilton, ON; where Carolyn attended Barton High School. On March 25, 1979 Carolyn had her first date with Micheal Vienneau and the two of them fell in love. On April 19, 1979 Carolyn and Mike were engaged and married on May 8, 1981. Over the next few years Carolyn welcomed three beautiful daughters, Lori (Edward) Power, Lisa (Jon) Todd and Beverly Vienneau who she loved and cherished with all her heart. Later Carolyn was blessed with five beautiful grandchildren, Megan, Eric, Katelyn, Matthew and Emily. It was the love for her family that kept her strong and gave her life true meaning. Carolyn is also survived by her sister Beverly (Mike) Rischke; and three brothers, Phil (Debbie) McKay, Dave (Shirley) McKay, and Steven (Kathy) McKay. Carolyn will always be loved by every heart she touched and her memory will live in all of us forever.
She asked only to leave you this message in her own words, “please don’t mourn my passing, but instead celebrate my life. I will have you all forever in my heart, so please keep me in yours for inner strength. Forget me not, for I will always be there for you in your hearts to help you cope and carry on with your lives. Love always now and forever: Mom/Grandma”
