VERGE, Christian (Chris) David Geoffrey

September 8, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Chris Verge of Calgary, AB, passed away on September 8, 2017 at the age of 31 years.

Though Chris battled cancer and its side effects since he was 7 years old, he loved life and was always looking at the bright side of things. His love and joy was infectious to those around him, and he always looked for ways to make those around him smile.

Chris is survived by his parents Geoff and Carol Verge from Knoxville, Tennessee, sister Kate (Bill) Evans of Calgary, AB, brother Jon (Becca Bunn) Verge and niece Daisy Bunn of Thunder Bay, ON, and grandparents Roy and Fran Woelke of Vernon, BC. He is also remembered with love by Janet Imorde.

Chris was predeceased by his grandparents Robert W. Verge Sr., Florence Blanche Verge and Uncle Peter Verge.

A memorial will be held at Abbeydale Christian Fellowship (1352 Abbeydale Drive S.E.) on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
