  2. Dorte and Gary Sanders :

please accept our deep condolences in the loss of Joe. Gary and I have in our hearts many fond memories about him, One of which is how he was always eager to be helpful to us. He could fix anything. One time that stands out in our minds is the time when Garys lawnmower was absolutely finished. Joe took it from us, fixed it and brought it back, just because he could! He was also full of funny stories, some really good and some not quite so much but told for effect!! he watched with interest to see how we would respond!!(twinkle in his eyes) And ofcourse we did, much to his delight!! He will be remembered fondly.

  3. We are so sorry for all of your loss of your Dad and husband and grandfather. The care you gave him this past few months showed your love for him and we are sure he apreciated it very much. As an uncle and great uncle he entertained us tremendously – Marlow and I viewed him as not only an uncle but a friend and will miss him a lot. The time will come in the resurection when we can welcome him back to a beautiful earth where he can photograph to his hearts content – the earth and mountains and animals he loved. May you get comfort from Daniels words at Dan. 12:2 “there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life”.

I always enjoyed your company Joe… even when you turned the sound off the commercials [the best part of TV]. It was hard to get a word in edgewise between you and Marlow. I hope to see you again. Marge, Karen and I are thinking of you. See you soon.

We wish we could be there for you. Know that your in our prayers & the thought of seeIng Uncle Joe again is very encouraging. I ( Jonny) wish I could’ve done one last shot of rebel yell with him, guess I will have to wait for Jesus to call him out of the grave for that. Hang in there everybody and rely on Jehovah for strength . Love, the Oswalds

  11. Gerry Hardman :

I was glad to be there yesterday, Marge. I also have many fond memories of Joe. We enjoyed many of the same things like old cars and photography. It was nice to see Rose Marie there as well whom I haven’t seen since I was a child. My Mom said before she died that she was going to have a nap and she would see me in the New Order. I look forward to seeing Joe there too when all the reasons for us to be sad are gone. When Jehovah wipes out every tear from our eyes. I’m glad that you have family close by to help you to deal with the loss. I know Jehovah will be with you as well to comfort you during the next little while. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

We are thinking of you all at this sad time…Uncle Joe was a very talented person with such a variety of interests that he pursued with a passion (photography & sewing outstandingly!) We have memories of him through the photos he took over many years! He was a colorful interesting character. I remember the naughty twinkle he would get in his eye & the gleeful laugh that accompanied it! We know that you are finding solace in our wonderful hope of the resurrection, may it be an anchor to your soul. Won’t Uncle Joe be touched when he experiences this miracle first hand!! With our warm affection & deep sympathy.

  13. Joe, it is very hard to say goodbye to you but there is comfort in knowing that the memories you have left each and every one of us will live on in our hearts and minds, forever keeping you near. There are only three of us five Vautrin siblings left now, Alice, Neen (Ann) and myself (Rose Marie). Louise, the eldest of us, passed away in 2011, and now you are also gone. You were our only brother and I know we will all miss you. You were always a very unique and colourful brother, with so many interests and hobbies. We each have our own memories and stories of you that will keep you in our thoughts forever. The many beautiful photographs you and Marge took and put into albums over the years and showed them to us whenever we visited, are just one of many things about you that I will cherish and remember you by.

Marge, Joe was blessed to have you as his loving and caring wife for so long. We are so sorry for your loss and our heartfelt condolences go out to you as well as to Tami, Donna, Sherri and all their families and friends also. You all cared so much about Joe, and gave selflessly of yourselves to make sure he knew he was cared for and comfortable in his time of need. We share in your grief and loss. With much love, Rose Marie and Brian, Jason, Michelle and Lisa, Candace and Mike
