Maria Vargek, beloved wife of Andy Vargek, passed away on October 8, 2013 at the age of 80 years.

Maria is survived by her loving husband Andy Vargek; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Art Nickel; three grandchildren Susana Leys (John), Lydia Burgoyne and Justin Nickel; two great-grandchildren Keanna Meeuws and Noah Leys. She was predeceased by her parents George and Manda Bradasic and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Rd.
