My deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Riny was my next door neighbor for 11 years when we lived in the townhouse complex. We continued our friendship when she moved. Riny was a genuine, friendly, helpful and lovable person. She touched my life in a positive way as she did others. I will miss her very much.

  6. Laurie & Erik Madsen & family :

Riny was our next door neighbour for years in Calgary, and a truly wonderful lady. She was a second mom to me and a grandma for my kids. When each of my boys turned 6 months old, she would bring over half a cake for a unique half-a-year-old celebration. She touched my whole family deeply with her thoughtful gestures & kindness. There is no such thing as a better neighbour than her example. She was simply the best. She genuinely lived the golden rule better than anybody I know. We will miss her coming to my girls’ birthday party this weekend, as she did in years past.
Our deepest sympathy to Carl, Cornell, Adrian and their families. God Bless,
Laurie, Erik, Colin, Caleb, Tyler, Jacob, Kristen, Caitlin

  7. Larry Naus & Jan Drennan :

We always enjoyed visiting Riny when we were in Calgary and also enjoyed our occasional letters and phone contact with her. She always had such a positive outlook on life. Years ago, we enjoyed hearing about her trips to the zoo in Calgary and having her show us her small backyard garden. In later years, we enjoyed hearing about her many activities at the assisted living center. She always found interesting things to do whether it was yoga in her room, exercise class, breakfast with a friend, or a variety of group day trips. We saw how Riny made the most of whatever life brought her way and will always remember this for our own lives. May her family hold dear many warm memories of this kind, cheery lady.
