You will be truly missed by many friends and family in which I feel I had become apart of. From all the great meals we shared and boards we skated together you will never be forgotten. You taught me many things that I will cherish for the rest of my life and as heartbreaking as it is that I won’t see or learn from you again I know you’ll be looking down on me guiding me towards my dreams.

It is with great sadness that I say good bye to Dave. He was the type of person that was tough to get to know but after close to twenty years of dealing with Dave I have the utmost respect for him as a customer, a father and a friend. Dave’s loyalty to the company he worked for is something hard to find these days. There were two things our conversations always turned to after the business was done–his love of his family and his love of cars. I will miss the conversations, and friendship, but I will never forget him.

With my most sincere thoughts and regrets, I was truly saddened to learn of Dave’s passing. I have had the pleasure to get to know Dave somewhat over the past years of working together, and have always found him a caring and driven human being, one who was able to intensely focus on work success and expectations, and then just as easily, share that same focus on his other passions and stories of his family. His humour and sincerity were genuine.

Wishing you strength, support and many family and friends.

Dave was truly a special guy! He was a tough guy, man’s man with the most kind and generous nature I’ve ever met. We shared a warped sense of humour. We spoke often and long about everything and we laughed… a LOT! He always shared his talents, knowledge and mostly his love of family! He has touched so many people as you already know. Dave gave me the opportunity to transfer from operations into merchandising a little over 2 years ago. I worked directly under Dave for just over a year, and then worked alongside him for the last year. During this time, I got to know Dave fairly well and I can tell you with certainty that he was very proud of his sons and cherished his wife dearly.

Dave had a way of brightening up everyone’s day. He always gave his full attention to everyone he spoke to and had a way of making them feel like they were important to him. We often speak of Dave and reminisce about all of the great memories he has left behind.

    We will miss you Dave.
