URQUHART – Debra Frances (nee Senger)

August 2, 1958 – July 30, 2011

Deb Urquhart passed away peacefully on the arm of her devoted husband and best friend Rob on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Foothills Medical Centre.

Deb will be missed by her beautiful children, Tanya Hartz, Angela Perry (Mike), Quinn, Brett, and Chelsea Urquhart; and the shining light of her life, grandson Cameron Hartz.

Deb was born and raised in Allan, SK, daughter of Otto and Eva Senger; sister to Fay Hoiness (Brian), Eileen Germann and Laurie Bitz (Lorne). She was known as crazy Auntie Deby to numerous nieces and nephews. Deb will be remembered as a caring, passionate and unselfish lady who was always first to help out and loved her family above all else. Even after her diagnosis she remained focused on how she could help everyone else cope with her illness. She never lost her fantastic sense of humour and has taught us all lessons in courage, spirit and love.

A Celebration of Deb’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Airdrie Funeral Home (300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, Alberta) on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. At Deb’s request please wear bright colours. 3. Rob, children, grandchildren, Deb’s parents and family: We are so sorry to hear of Deb’s passing. Kind and loving to help are certainly what I have memories of – as the day after my niece’s wedding, she got on her apron and dug right in to help the guys put together noodles for a big bunch. I also recall her on Fay’s birthday – so much fun and enthusiasm – thoughtful enough to forward me pictures. So much to give and ended too soon but will have taught many of us wonders. May God give you strength and faith to carry on as she will be in your hearts forever.
