Helen Turner of Calgary passed away peacefully on May 16, 2010 at the age of 94 years.
Helen was born in Morden, MB and enjoyed teaching in Winnipeg for thirty-two years. She moved to Calgary in 1988 to be closer to her family, watch her grandsons grow up and was thrilled when she became a great-grandma.
Helen is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Bob and Val Turner; grandsons, Michael (Lisa) and David (Becci); four great-grandchildren, Natalie, Graeme, Cooper and Ella. She was predeceased by husband Russell in 1978 and her son William in 1986.
A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held in Morden, MB at a later date.
