TUFF, Allan John “Jack”

June 18, 1947 – Pincher Creek, Alberta
September 14, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

After a long battle with cancer Jack Tuff passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice on September 14, 2014 at the age of 67 years.

Jack will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Lorraine. He also leaves behind his sons Michael (Jen), Matthew (Ivana), and Jeremy (Leora); his mother, Betty; his brothers and sisters; and his beloved grandchildren: Rachel, Carson, Julia, Anna, Vanessa, and Cohen. The greatest legacy Jack leaves behind is his grandchildren. He lived for watching his grandkids playing and doing the things they loved. Jack was surrounded by his family when he passed. At his side through his journey were his best friend and eldest brother Bob, his sister-in-law Iris, and their boys Greg and Brad.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to send their heartfelt appreciation to the staff on Unit 47 at the Foothills Medical Centre, especially Dr. Galloway, Dr. Amane Abdul-Razzak, and Dr. Mark Ballard. They would also like to thank all of the nurses, aides, and Dr. deBruyn at the Agape Hospice.   5. I was so sad to hear the news about Jack’s passing. Simply put, he was a gem. Every time I saw him, he greeted me with a big smile and a warm handshake, and made me feel like family.
