Condolence Messages

  1. I met Mary on June 8, 1970 when I first arrived at work at William Roper Hull Home. Mary left a strong impression and made a definite impact on me; I never forgot her.
It is sad to see that she has passed; but I believe she must have lived a very full life.
I wish Mary many blessings on the next stage of her life’s journey.
To the members of Mary’s family and to her friends, I share your loss and sadness, and I send my prayers and affection.
    Peace.
    Lou Zaganelli

  2. My sympathy to Mary’s family. Mary and I worked together at Alberta Theatre Projects when the office was located upstairs in the train station of Heritage Park. Mary hired me to work with her in the accounting department. May your memories of happier times comfort you.

  3. Kathryn Woods (Cable) :

Dear old old Auntie Mary! We first met in one of your road adventures with Uncle Jerry and Grandpa. As you arrived to meet the California Cable’s you were serenaded with a 3 alarm hook and ladder fire engine screaming up the driveway behind you. Mom was cooking you a wonderful dinner! Thank you for the times and tours of the homeland Banff, stampedes, and Calgary and thanks for letting me and grand niece Emerald wear your mink coat in the -30 chinook. Most of all we loved you and will cherish the memories…condolences to all our dear Aunt’s friends and family, Kathryn

  4. Aunt Mary was officially my Godmother. Though I didn’t get to see her much growing up due to the vast miles between us, she has a special place in my heart. As number five of her brother’s children, as a child I worried a bit about what would happen should I have to move in with her alone without my siblings. Fortunately, that didn’t happen! But I’m sure if it had, I’d have had two fine adoptive parents in aunt Mary and uncle Jerry. I should mention that she was a magnificent piano player (which wasn’t mentioned here). My son, Gavin, inherited her musical talent and I like to think they are playing a duet up in heaven. Rest in Peace Ms. Trudel. Love, Julie

  5. Kathy Atkinson :

Mary was a dear friend of mine for over 33 years. I often looked at her as a mother figure and I was very sad to see her go. Her passing leaves an emptiness in my heart. My condolences go out to all of the family in the loss of a great lady.
