  3. Charlene Gaudet :

I am truly saddened to hear of the death of your dear son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.

Denis was a member of the Communications Team which I led from 2000-2005. He was a quiet, unassuming gentleman who always spoke fondly of his family and how much they meant to him. I recall how distraught he was when he told me about the death of his brothers and about how much pain their passings would bring to his dear mother. Rest assured, Mme. Tremblay that even though he was far away in Calgary, he thought of you often and his heart was heavy for the losses you had experienced. My sincere sympathy to you Mme. for the loss of your son.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have worked at the National Energy Board for 30 of the 33 years Denis gave to serving the public interest.

He was always willing to help everybody and make a difference, every day, in the lives of others. He had always a positive thought to share. He was always discrete and reliable.

His legacy is still and will remain with us.
