December 22, 1924 – February 3, 2013

Kenneth Tillotson, beloved husband of Monica Tillotson of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the age of 88 years.

Kenneth was born on the family farm in the Kelliher area of Saskatchewan on December 22, 1924. He was the second youngest of four brothers and three sisters. Ken was employed in the farm implement business for years and because of his ability to deal with problems within this industry he was well respected for his knowledge. He later found himself in the oil industry where these same skills manifested themselves.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years Monica; son-in-law Ron, granddaughter Rhonda Lena Smethurst; grandson Kendell “Jay” Smethurst and his wife Ericka; two great-grandchildren, Dawson James and Hunter Robert Smethurst. He is also survived by his brother Ernie and his sister Mamie and their families. Ken was predeceased by his daughter Maureen Ann Smethurst; two sisters Margret and Jessie; two sisters-in-law Marion and Martha; and three brothers, William, Fred and James Tillotson.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through
